Fall Out Boy tease Courtney Love collaboration

Earlier today (March 21), rockers Fall Out Boy revealed that Hole singer Courtney Love features on their forthcoming new album, 'Save Rock And Roll'.

Yesterday, member Pete Wentz teased fans of the band by telling them that a blonde-haired singer recently collaborated with them and today a video was shared, in which Love can be heard saying "It's Courtney, bitch" over a song snippet.

In addition to this exciting news, on March 13 frontman Patrick Stump tweeted a photograph of himself sat next to Sir Elton John (shown below) in what looks like a recording studio and accompanied the shot with the caption: "#saverockandroll #sireltonjohn." Although he didn't confirm in what capacity the icon is involved, it is clear from the picture that the band had some kind of working relationship with the 'Your Song' legend.

When asked by Fuse.TV about the album's title, Fall Out Boy confessed that Sir Elton John told them they needed it: "It's the name of a song and it kind of just came together naturally [...] when I sent in that demo, that was one of the reactions, "oh, that sounds like an album title!". We bumped into Sir Elton John in the studio and he knows everything, he knows every band better than you do. He goes, "you need that title, that is the best title. Stand up to that title because you're going to p*ss off a lot of people that you should p*ss off!"

'Save Rock And Roll' will be released on April 16.
