Singer Craig Colton, who was a finalist on 'The X Factor' back in 2011, has announced details of a UK tour that will take place later this autumn.

The talented young vocalist has been working on his music and his fitness, and recently told Liverpool Daily Post that he's been losing weight and feels fantastic: "I'm at a stage now where I'm not chasing pounds away I'm just doing it to keep fit and healthy."

His debut album will soon be made available for pre-order and he explained that he wasn't ready to commit to making a record immediately after finishing on the TV talent show, so has been honing his songs ever since: "When I finished The X Factor I wasn't ready to do it."

"I think the best thing about taking this time out is that I'm growing into a young man. I'm an adult now with a mortgage and bills to pay I've got a different writing style to the music I made after the show. My voice is different too, but in a good way."

Tickets for his newly announced tour are set to go on sale on May 17 and the dates can be seen below:
