Sharon Osbourne will receive a telling off from the police after throwing a pen at an X Factor wannabe.

73-year-old Jonnie Rocco attempted to win over the TV talent show judges recently as their auditions came to Manchester.

His cover of Elvis' 'An American Trilogy' didn't go down well and The Sun reports that all four judges said no to the singer.

However, he then reportedly started mocking Sharon's Osbourne husband Ozzy and the Black Sabbath star's singing talents - to which the judge replied:

"Don’t you talk about my f***ing husband."

She then asked security to take Rocco out of the room and threw a pen at the contestant, which hit him on the shoulder.

Rocco has since informed the authorities about the incident and the Greater Manchester Police has confirmed to The Sun that they will be writing to the X Factor team to remind the judges of their conduct.
