One Direction star Niall Horan has admitted that he would consider dating a fan.

The Irishman has long been linked with a series of star names such as Demi Lovato, but he has remained single.

However, Horan replied to the affirmative when asked about the prospect of going out with a Directioner. He said:

"If the right one came around."

The singer added: "I’m not really a flirt, I try to be myself!"

One Direction meanwhile are gearing up for the release of their debut film This Is Us, which is due to hit screens from late August.

Producer Ben Winston recently told MTV that the boyband lads have opened up in the movie thanks to the group being already familiar with being in front of the camera.
