Singer and producer Pharrell Williams has praised Miley Cyrus and labelled her one to really watch out for because her potential has been underestimated by the public.

The pair worked on Cyrus's forthcoming new album, 'Bangerz', together and the N*E*R*D sensation explained to MTV that she is "a threat" because the world only knows her as a former Disney starlet and no one has a clue what she is truly capable of:

"The world has no idea who she really is. They've gotten just a slice. If you think about it, when you were 20 years-old and you threw caution to the wind, you did so. She's done so in public."

"It's interesting because while everyone thinks they know who she is and what she's all about now, and they're like, 'Oh we got it. We saw that performance, we know'. You have no idea!"

Williams added: "All I'm saying is, get ready. That girl's a threat."
