One Direction star Harry Styles has praised The 1975 following their cover of 'What Makes You Beautiful'.

The English group performed the hit One Direction song on Wednesday's (September 4) BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.

The cover went down well among fans - and it seems to have impressed singer Harry Styles too. He tweeted the band:

"Loved the live lounge. And the album is ridiculous, So so good. Found myself googling 'Yosh'..."

The 1975's self-titled debut album meanwhile is due to hit No.1 in the UK chart this weekend, according to the Official Charts Company's midweek update.
