Naya Rivera: 'I'm proud to represent the ethnic LGBT community with my 'Glee' role'

'Glee' actress Naya Rivera has opened up about portraying a lesbian character on the hit musical U.S. series and revealed that she thinks it's an honour.

The beauty told Latina magazine that it's amazing to represent the ethnic LGBT community on the show and she's proud of the character, feisty Santana Lopez, she portrays:

"There are very few ethnic LGBT characters on television, so I am honored to represent them. I love supporting this cause, but it's a big responsibility, and sometimes it's a lot of pressure on me."

Meanwhile, Rivera is gearing up to release her single 'Sorry' (pictured below) through iTunes and took to her official Twitter page recently to tell her fans that she's so excited for it to go on sale:

"Just dropped the audio for my new single Sorry on @Vevo! Available for download on iTunes 9/17!"
