Little Mix: "We don't want to gyrate on the floor with no clothes on"

Little Mix have revealed their desire to look "sexy" without having to resort to "gyrating on the floor" near-naked.

Today's female popstars are often criticised for wearing not enough clothing, with the likes of Miley Cyrus and Rihanna two artists regularly under fire.

Speaking to the BBC, Perrie Edwards said that they don't want to replicate the X-rated dancing some singers indulge in.

However, the quartet want to keep looking "sexy" because they are still young. She said:

"We don't want to gyrate on the floor with no clothes on, but we do want to look sexy. We're 20-odd years old, so we want to look nice and pretty and cool, but we do it in a way that's more mature."

Speaking meanwhile about the influence they have on their music's creation, Edwards added:

"Our label will come to us with a finished song and it'll be a different production, and we'll be like, 'what have you done! That drum beat's different, and what's that horn doing there?' And they'll be like, 'gosh, you literally don't miss anything'."

Little Mix unleashed their second album 'Salute' in the UK today (November 11), with a US release planned for February next year before they support Demi Lovato on tour in North America.
