Miley Cyrus has blasted anyone who thinks she taking it easy in hospital instead of touring.

The singer was forced into cancelling a Bangerz Tour show in Kansas City on Tuesday (April 15) after suffering a "severe" allergic reaction to antibiotics.

Cyrus tweeted a photo of herself with a toy octopus from a hospital bed and she has taken to the social networking website again to slam her critics.

Suggesting that some people have been claiming that she taking it easy in hospital, Cyrus said:

"Humans can b so selfish. if any1 thinks id rather b layin n a hospital bed than doing what i love on stage theyre f*ckin LAME. im miserable. [sic]"

She later added that tonight's (April 16) date in St. Louis has also been cancelled. Cyrus wrote:

"The hospital is sayin i wont b released today therefore Im not going 2 make it 2 St Louis. Im so sorry but somethings are outta my control."

Cyrus had recently cancelled a Bangerz Tour date after falling ill with the flu.
