Miley Cyrus has been checking out London's tourist hotspots with her mum as her European Bangerz tour gets set to kick off.

The singer is due to play London's O2 Arena tonight (May 6) for the first show of the second leg of her world tour.

The 'We Can't Stop' star uploaded a number of photos on Instagram of herself and mother Tish Cyrus in the capital city on Monday (May 5).

The news of Cyrus's arrival in London has been greeted warmly by her fans after the singer was struck down with illness.

She suffered a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics last month and was forced to postpone a number of US dates.

Two European gigs were affected too, but her UK shows are set to go ahead as scheduled.
