Miley Cyrus on image transformation: 'It's called puberty'

'We Can't Stop' hitmaker Miley Cyrus has made light of her dramatic makeover by simply describing the transformation as a side effect of puberty and growing up.

During an interview with Kelly Osbourne for 'Fashion Police', she noted that the only reason people are so interested in her hair cut and new style is because she's in the public eye:

"It’s called puberty. Everyone’s done it from the beginning of time. I’m just doing it [in the spotlight] so you’re zooming in on it and you’re fascinated by it."

Cyrus added: "I don’t think people understand how I’m a real human being.”

Earlier this month, the hitmaker explained that as a former Disney star it's difficult to grow up in the spotlight because people see you as being stuck in that role: “They try to make someone not grow up but you can’t do that to real, normal people.”
