Pop songstress Miley Cyrus doesn't spend time with "super-famous people".

The international superstars prefers to share her downtime with pals who aren't in the spotlight.

Speaking to We Love Pop magazine, Cyrus insists her everyday life is normal and fame-free, explaining: "I have a really weird group of friends, no one you would know. I don’t hang out with super-famous people; that’s not my thing.

“I hang out with the randoms. All the random LA people, they’re all in the video [for 'We Can't Stop'.”

Cyrus is gearing up for the release of her new album Bangerz. The star feels confident about her new image and sound.

She said: “Rather than going straight into work I was like, ‘You know what? I’m gonna buy a dope house and do whatever I want in it and become whoever I’m supposed to be within these next two years.’

"For me it’s like I’ve started from the bottom again but without the stress, I don’t need to build this fan base, or make this money, or stress. I have the fans and the people are gonna watch so…”
