Robert De Niro performs spoken word version of Miley Cyrus's 'Wrecking Ball'

Robert De Niro has spoken the lyrics to Miley Cyrus's hit track 'Wrecking Ball'.

The odd performance came when The Screen Junkies Show interviewed the all-star cast of new film Last Vegas.

They tasked each actor present - De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Kevin Kline and Michael Douglas - with reinterpreting some current pop hits.

De Niro spoke through 'Wrecking Ball' like a pro, whilst Freeman - famous for his velvet voice - tried Ylvis's 'The Fox (What Does the Fox Say)'.

Douglas was tasked with Alison Gold's song 'Chinese Food' and Kline was given the lyrics to One Direction's 'Best Song Ever'.

After all the recitals, Morgan Freeman quipped to the host: "If this doesn't go viral, I'm coming looking for you".

Miley Cyrus originally released the track 'Wrecking Ball' in August and its revealing video became an instant smash hit.

Last Vegas meanwhile follows four ageing friends in Las Vegas who decide to have a bachelor party for the last of the four to get married. It is due to be released from October 31.
