Nicole Scherzinger "not in touch" with other Pussycat DollsChart-topping solo artist Nicole Scherzinger is very proud of how her career since leaving Pussycat Dolls has turned out and revealed that it was "empowering" to finally put the girl band behind her. Speaking exclusively to Attitude Magazine, the 'Poison' hitmaker explained how she's "not in touch" with the other Dolls because they're all so busy and on very different paths: "A few of the girls left the group and I was like, 'Am I the only Doll standing here?!'" "We're not in touch. We're all busy, and I'm happy for everyone. Once all the girls went off, I thought it was the perfect opportunity for me to go and do my music and what I love." Scherzinger has already scored her first UK solo number 1 single with 'Don't Hold Your Breath' and her debut album, 'Killer Love', has stormed the top ten since its release. The response to her music as a solo artist has been impressive and well-deserved, and she added: "It's been liberating and amazing. It's empowering to come into your own in that way."
