Nicole Scherzinger prefers UK X Factor over American version

Nicole Scherzinger has admitted that she thinks the UK version of the X Factor is "more fun" than the US one.

The Pussycat Dolls star has acted as a judge on both shows, recently landing a permanent slot on the UK version for its 2012 series.

Speaking to BBC Radio 1, Scherzinger said she thinks the British show has "beautiful talent" as well as enjoying a wide range of entrants. She said:

"I think it's more fun over here; there's a lot more characters, the talent is really raw and homegrown. It's beautiful, the talent over here. I'm really impressed. I'm blown away."

Speaking about her fellow judges - Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos - Scherzinger added:

"I love all the other judges, I do. I get along really well with them. I'd never met Tulisa but she's such a cool chick."
