Nicole Scherzinger has hinted that this year's X Factor could be her last.

The singer became a permanent judge on the show earlier this year after a string of successful guest appearances.

She currently has two acts in this weekend's (December 8/9) final - Jahmene Douglas and James Arthur - but it looks like she might bow out after the showdown to concentrate on her solo career.

The 'Wet' star told The Sun: "I'm really glad I did the show. I don't know if I'll come back next year. End on a high, right?"

She added: "This year has changed my life. As an artist, it's put into perspective what I want, how to go about it. People have made me so comfortable and I have to thank you."

Scherzinger meanwhile recently previewed her new single 'Boomerang' on a promo clip shown during an episode of the X Factor.
