Nicole Scherzinger's X Factor UK return "up in the air"

Nicole Scherzinger insists her return to the UK X Factor's judging panel is "up in the air".

The pop beauty returned to the hit TV talent show last year after appearing as a guest judge on the 2010 series.

The panel for the 2013 show has not yet been confirmed, with various reports swirling around.

Scherzinger is unsure about her future on The X Factor, telling Star:  "There's no official word - everything's up in the air.

She added: "I had the most shamaze time last year and me and the UK rocked it together. You Brits have always been good to me. When I did my first guest judging on the show, you were shamazing to me."

Scherzinger mentored the boys category last year - taking eventual winner James Arthur and Jahmene Douglas into the final.

Asked if she wanted to come back, the 'Boomerang' singer added: "If the official talks are right. The UK is my home. You get my music first. I am American, but I'm British at heart."

She continued: "I'm still in touch with all my boys. I'm always here for them if they need [me], if they've got questions about music and life, and everything they're going through."
