DMVC BLVCK - GEKYUME EP @dmvc_blvck

Tell us about yourself and your music?

I’m Dmvc Blvck, I’m from Charlotte NC but I just recently moved out to LA. My music is different, I like to experiment with a lot of different sounds.

How would you describe your sound?

I wouldn’t even say I have a particular sound because I like to try and always sound from previous songs/projects, most of of my music will sound different from the rest. But if I had to describe it in one world it would definitely be different.

Talk about the experience making your single? All of my work I draw from real life experience and my own situations so I start there, mix in a few psychedelics and a microphone and boom, Art!

What are you currently working on? Any new projects? Shows?

I’m Always working on something, right now I have several projects I’m working on, one will more of a conscious type project, and then I have my album I’m working on and I’ll release a few singles here and there until I drop those. Also I have have a lot of shows coming up 2019, and I’m going on tour, dates and locations to be announced.

What has been your biggest highlight in your music career this far?

I ran into Chief Kief at a mansion party in the Hollywood hills my first night in LA, then I ran into Vic Mensa the first time I went to the studio in Cali so that was pretty cool, he’s really a humble down to earth dude.

Name your ideal collaboration: mainstream or independent artist(s)?

Mainstream wise I gotta collab with J Cole or Kendrick, or Weezy, any of those 3 an I’ll be content for life. I really want to collab with Hippie Sabotage too that’s a must! As for Independent artist I have to collab with KAMAU and Corbin (Spooky Black) If we could get Kodak, Corbin, an myself on a track it would be legendary.

Name something random that people do not know about you?

I’m actually from the future and I’ve been sent to make some changes.

What’s one thing you have learned or discovered while being in the indie music scene/industry?

I’ve learned that this type of music is one of the greatest to be bring people together, nothing but good vibes, peace love and happiness.
