Robbie Williams didn't like his last solo album: 'I wasn't into it'

'Angels' superstar Robbie Williams has revealed that the reason he didn't take his previous album, 'Reality Killed The Video Star', on the road is because he didn't like it.

During an interview with BBC's Newsbeat, Williams explained that he "wasn't into it" so decided not to take it on tour despite demand from his fans:

"I didn't bother touring the last one, I wasn't into it that much. I want to impress on people that I'm fully in with this one. After the Take That reunion - a busman's holiday, a break from my career which re-energised me in many, many ways - I wanted to come back with a massive solo album."

He recently confirmed that he will release a brand new album, entitled 'Take The Crown', on November 5 in the UK and he added: "My main priority was to write what I consider, and hopefully what the world would consider, to be hits. I'm very excited."

Just before his new record drops, Williams will unveil a new single called 'Candy' on October 29.
