Robbie Williams wants new child to be "quirky"

Robbie Williams has revealed what he wants his new child to turn out like.

The singer's wife Ayda Field gave birth to baby Theodora on Tuesday (September 18), which marks Williams' entry into fatherhood for the first time.

The 38-year-old later confirmed that all are doing well, with the baby weighing in at 7lbs 4oz.

Speaking to Capital FM, the Take That man said that he hopes Theodora turns out to be a little "quirky" - but it doesn't really matter as long as she has good manners. He said:

"I can't help thinking...her mum's a comedian and actress and her dad is me. I just want a really quirky, kind kid. As long as she's kind and has got good manners then we're cool."

Gary Barlow meanwhile, who tragically lost his fourth child in August when she was delivered stillborn, congratulated bandmate Williams on Twitter on his good news.
