Robbie Williams to release 'immediate' live concert albums

Cheeky hitmaker Robbie Williams has announced plans to record and release live CDs from his upcoming trio of gigs at London's O2 Arena.

The 'Candy' star is set to perform at the popular venue for three consecutive nights on November 22, 23 and 24, and each set will be recorded and made into a CD that fans can purchase directly after the concerts as part of a special 'Live At The O2' collection.

Adam Goodyer of Concert Live, which is the company behind the technology that will transform Williams' audio for the project, said: "This is Robbie's first live album since 2003 and Concert Live is thrilled to be working with him to produce such a unique memento available right after the show for his devoted fans."

Tim Clark from Williams' management company, ie:music, added: "So many fans have requested live albums from the concerts they've attended and we want to make sure that we meet their demand. These Concert Live albums are the perfect way to do it."
