Singer/songwriter star, Emma Stevens, will host a series of free outdoor pop-up gigs across the UK whilst gifting sunflower seeds to residents, as she brings a burst of environmental happiness to each town her UK tour will hit

The UK will enjoy an additional burst of happiness this Spring as country music star, Emma Stevens, gifts the each town on her UK tour schedule with a free outdoor performance and complimentary packs of sunflower seeds.  A familiar voice on Radio 2 with her unique blend of country/pop, Emma Stevens pulls her band together and brings her 11-date ‘To My Roots Spring Tour’ to the UK, and plans to leave a lasting gift with each town by asking people to plant her happy sunflowers on their own chosen patch of land.

As I travel the UK with my ‘To My Roots Spring Tour’, I wanted to leave a positive imprint across the towns that I visit, so I’m hosting free live pop-up performances for everyone in each town to enjoy ahead of my headline show each evening. All are welcome,” comments Emma.  “But I’m passionate about the environment and as we head towards World Environment Day, I wanted to bring an extra burst of happiness to each town, so I’ll be handing out free sunflower seeds to the first x30 people who arrive on the day and I hope they plant them in a patch of land that’s special to them.  I want every town I visit to smile with their happiness as they grow.”

Hailed as “Just Magical” by the late great Sir Terry Wogan, life has been something of a whirlwind for the down to earth surfer chick from Guildford, since embarking on a solo career in 2012; bursting onto the scene with her distinctively catchy pop melodies, fused with folk instrumentation and a touch of country. The increasing popularity of this uniquely versatile “what you see is what you get” artist is now undeniable, thanks to almost three million Spotify plays, and over a million video views on the back of four EP and three album releases, with four consecutive singles play-listed by Radio 2 and a jaw-dropping performance to a crowd of 40,000 at the BBC’s Festival in a Day at Hyde Park.

Now the UK can experience the magic of Emma Stevens for themselves as she brings her ‘To My Roots Spring Tour’ to the nation.  But Emma wants you to embrace her love of life, so you’re all invited to her free pop-up performance in a town near you – grab your sunflower seeds and plant a burst of sunshine happiness that you can enjoy everyday!
