Taylor Swift: 'Seeing my break-ups all over the press has me in tears'

Country-pop superstar Taylor Swift has revealed that reading about her break-ups in newspapers and online has often reduced her to tears.

In the December/January issue of Harper's Bazaar, the beauty explained that it makes having a private life very difficult because there are constant rumours and outsiders giving their opinions on her personal goings on:

"It gets really bad if you go through a breakup and those blogs have these polls asking, ‘Who should they date next?’ And you’re just sitting there staring at the laptop bawling."

Swift revealed that the only thing that stops her from taking it to heart is completely cutting herself off from this world and she avoids reading about herself for her own peace of mind:

"But you can live in a normal world where a breakup is just a breakup if you don’t expose yourself to what’s being speculated about yourself. That’s where I live now." Watch her performance of 'Red' from a recent live session in New York City below:
