Taylor Swift thinks "big" for 'RED Tour'

Country-pop megastar Taylor Swift has spoken out on her upcoming 'RED Tour', telling Billboard: "I like for it to be big - as big as possible."

The songstress will launch the tour - in support of her recently-released fourth studio album 'Red' - on March 13 2013 in Omaha, Nebraska.

"If we can make a show that dazzles people more than the last tour, then I'll have done my job in the right way," she explains in the newly-released interview.

So far, a total of 58 dates across the US and Canada have been announced. Ed Sheeran, who co-wrote the 'Red' album track 'Everything Has Changed', will be the support act on 45 of these.

In the interview she continued: "I just want to be able, in this economy, to make a show that for fans is definitely a guarantee that they will be entertained enough to warrant them leaving the house, spending their evening with me, parking their car, waiting in line, maybe buy a T-shirt. I want them to be so happy that they decided to spend their time with me - I think that is my biggest objective."

Upon its release last month, 'Red' became Swift's second album to sell upwards of 1 million copies (1.2 million) in a single week in the US, debuting at No.1. The album also debuted at No.1 in the UK, becoming her first chart topper here.
