Taylor Swift's childhood home in Pennsylvania will soon have a new owner according to the Press Association

Century 21 Gold agent Lisa Tiger says the six-bedroom home in Wyomissing, near Reading, is in contract and expected to close this month.

Swift's parents had rented the home for a decade before moving to Nashville when the singer was 14 years old to help her career. This proved to be a smart move as the 23-year-old has gone on to sell more than 75 million albums.

The 5,050 sq foot home is in the unit block of Grandfiew Boulevard, and features a grand staircase and a study where Swift practised playing guitar and songwriting, according to the £522,000 ($799,500) listing.
