Author Jerry Astbury & Shami Book Publishing Secure Global Rights to Acclaimed Music Engineer/Producer Mark S. Berry's Autobiography

The landmark publication provides the reader with a behind the scenes look into the personal life and production achievements of this legendary producer. From his roots in New York to his apprenticeship under Sir George Martin at AIR Studios in London, to his engineering of the iconic "You're So Vain" by Carly Simon, the reader is given a front row seat into the personal life and technical achievements that culminated in his numerous hit recordings completed throughout the 70's, 80's & 90's.
Mark's international engineering & mixing collaborations with some of the biggest producers in the game gives a rare glimpse into what went into creating some of the Pop world's most iconic productions. These collaborations have led to the development of a huge loyal fan base which together with Mark's productions have helped shape the cultural landscape for such movements as those coming out of the NYC Hip-Hop movement in his early 80's engineering the Tommy Boy Records, Afrika Bambaataa recordings.
Mark's 11 year stint at Vanguard Records 23rd Street Studios engineering for producer's such as Arthur Baker & John Robie became the birthplace, incubator and launching pad for the early New York Hip-Hop sound.
