Jay McGuiness on 'Strictly': 'They're sort of scraping the barrel'

Singer Jay McGuiness, who is currently competing on 'Strictly Come Dancing', has revealed that the programme is losing its touch a little as people are uninterested in signing up for it.

During an interview with Alan Carr for 'Chatty Man', McGuiness admitted that the show is struggling to find celebrities who might be interested in participating: "I think after 10 years they are sort of scraping the barrel for who they can get to do it and they are like ‘Oh, no one fancies that’.”

The full interview is due to air this evening at 10pm on Channel 4. Speaking to OK! magazine recently, the heartthrob confessed that he is enjoying dancing on the show: "Outside of Strictly I don't have any other ambitions. I've wanted to have a really awesome experience and so far that has been my focus. I would rather be a cheerleader for the boys."
