Victoria Beckham has admitted that she’s still freaked out by fame.

The former Spice Girl, who was widely derided for her gloomy appearance at the girlband’s recent Viva Forever! launch, told British Airways magazine that she’s always felt uncomfortable with the interest in her private life:

''I think I'd be freaked out if I thought about that too much. Honestly I wake up every morning and pinch myself.

“I appreciate how lucky I am. I don't take anything for granted. I have an amazing family and a job I love. It's all so incredible.”

The 38-year-old, who has reinvented herself as a successful clothes designer since quitting the music industry, also hinted at the next move she’s planning in her fashion career:

“[I might design] shoes next. Or something surprising in technology perhaps. All I know right now, is that I'm enjoying the journey.''

“I didn't set out to create a big brand or business. I just set out to design, to have a creative outlet. It's what I like to do. I love fashion. It's my hobby that's turned into a successful business. Of course I have to work hard at it. I'm up early and most of the night as well.''
