5SOS: 'The Madden brothers have played a big role in our new album'

Aussie pop-punk heartthrobs 5 Seconds Of Summer are currently hard at work on their new record, which should be unveiled before the end of the year, and they revealed to Capital FM that they've been teaming up with the Madden brothers

Frontman Luke Hemmings opened up about the creative process behind their forthcoming new album and confessed that Joel and Benji Madden, of Good Charlotte fame, have played a major role in writing:

“They've had a big role in the album this time, even more so than the last album. It's been really fun. We really look up to them, their whole movement as a band. It's amazing they're on board with us. They're great dudes."

As previously reported, guitarist Michael Clifford also teased that new material should be making its way to fans before 2015 is up: "We've written most of it, and we're recording it now. We'll release it when it's right, whether it's on the tour or at the end of the tour. New music will definitely be out this year."
