Ariana Grande was 'honoured' to work with Iggy Azalea

Ariana Grande says it was an honour to collaborate with Iggy Azalea.

The two stars teamed up for Grande's 'Problem', which features on her new record 'My Everything'.

The song became a smash hit across the globe and speaking to Australia's Sunrise on Tuesday (September 9), Grande lavished praise on Azalea.

She said: "I love Iggy, she's very talented I love her music and I was honoured that she wanted to do a song with me."

The Australian rapper meanwhile recently admitted that she previously decided against working with Grande because of a perceived age difference.

Azalea said: "She reached out to me for her first album and I didn't do it even though I thought she was amazing, because I thought she was much younger than what she is. When I realised she was so close to my age, I was like, 'Wait you're an adult!'."

"I felt that my music was kind of so risqué and I knew she had a Disney show...I didn't feel like it was appropriate but then I actually met her and I found out that she's a grown-up and I was like 'Oh, OK!'."
