Kian Egan has expressed his desire to see Westlife reunite for a concert in the future.

However, the singer - who has just released his debut solo album 'Home' - isn't sure if it would ever happen.

The Irishman was an integral part of the group during their rise to prominence in the 1990s and 2000s.

The band split in 2012 and some of the members have gone on to enjoy solo careers.

In a Twitter Q&A via Digital Spy today (March 20), Egan was asked by a fan if he thinks Westlife will ever reconvene for a reunion concert.

The singer said: "I hope so! But I really don't know."

Egan meanwhile added that he featured covers on his album because of time constraints.
