Kian Egan hopes Westlife will reunite in the future

Kian Egan thinks Westlife could reform in the future.

The Irish group split in 2012 after securing a slew of No.1 singles and racking up a massive fanbase.

Talk of the band reuniting has often reared its head and singer Egan told Now that he thinks there is a possibility Westlife could reform in the coming years.

He said: "I'd like to think I'll be on stage again with Westlife but it definitely won't be in the next five years.

"If it's in the next 10 years I'd be shocked. I could be sitting in Ireland with another baby next year and I might not want to be in the industry any more. It's a tough lifestyle - I might stay at home and just be dad."

Egan meanwhile launched his debut solo album 'Home' earlier this year.
