Kian Egan denies Westlife reunion speculation

Kian Egan has poured cold water over speculation that Westlife will reunite.

The Sun have reported today (December 4) that the group, who split in 2012, are in talks with Syco about releasing a new album and touring.

Their source claimed: "Syco started the talks about getting Westlife back for an album.

"The idea now is that a new album could be released late next year with a tour to follow in 2016."

However, singer Kian Egan told fans on Twitter that the story isn't true. He wrote:

"Guys Im sorry to say but I don't know where these rumours are coming from about a Westlife reunion but it's untrue. Sorry #weslifeforever."

The Sun's head of showbiz Dan Wootton, who has previously broken stories about McBusted forming and S Club 7 reuniting, replied to the Irishman:

"You don't know where they're coming from? Really? There's a published story in Bizarre today which you've definitely heard about."
