Nathan Sykes: 'No one should be judged by how they are dressed'

Singer Nathan Sykes has revealed that he recently had an awkward encounter on a plane that left him thinking about how differently people are treated purely on the basis of appearance.

He told his Twitter followers that a businessman wearing a suit was given more priority than him on the aircraft, which was unfair and made him think about how fixated this generation is on exterior impressions:

"Got asked on the plane if I'll put my bags under the seat so the businessman next to me can have more room. I mean ... He is wearing a suit. I just find it so irritating how people are treated differently because of what they are wearing. Everyone should be treated equally. I mean, why should someone in a suit be treated any different to someone wearing trackies? No one should be judged by how they are dressed."

The 'Over And Over Again' singer, meanwhile, confessed last week that he has been in touch with One Direction's Liam Payne about potentially writing music together: "I spoke to Liam about writing together, which is going to be cool. I'm looking forward to that when we can get it in our schedules."
