Nathan Sykes on the moment he knew he wanted to pursue music

Hitmaker Nathan Sykes sat down for a Twitter Q&A with Hot 107.9 last night and opened up about his upcoming new album and his love of music.

When asked if he always wanted to be a singer-songwriter, Sykes confessed that he knew that music was his true passion and felt he was destined for a career in the spotlight from an early age: "It's always been something I have loved doing but wanted to do it as a career probably from about the age of 6!!"

The topic soon turned to his forthcoming debut solo album and he was quizzed on potential favourite tracks from the record, to which he replied: "There are a few really personal songs on the album that I'm really looking forward to people hearing!"

The 'Over and Over Again' heartthrob went onto talk about the one thing he learned about himself while working on his album and said: "Not to set yourself any limits. You can do whatever you put your mind to."
