Madame Tussauds won't remove Zayn waxwork and the company hires 'tissue attendant'

Following the news that Zayn Malik has quit One Direction, Madame Tussauds in London has hired a tissue attendant to be on hand for emotional fans visiting the waxwork figures.

Assistant Grace Cadden explained in a statement: "Directioners that have visited since the news broke have enjoyed seeing all of the boys together and singing along with their songs - many have also been teary eyed, but we've had a delivery of 150 boxes of tissues over the weekend so we're prepared."

Marketing manager Matt Clarkson also insisted that the waxwork of Zayn Malik there to stay: "I want to reassure fans that we will absolutely not be removing Zayn from our One Direction line up. All five boys will remain in the attraction as they have been since their arrival in 2013."

Earlier today, meanwhile, a demo version of Zayn Malik's debut solo offering, named 'I Won't Mind', hit the web after producer Naughty Boy uploaded it.
