Harry Styles' relationship with Caroline Flack was mostly "physical"

Curly-haired heartthrob Harry Styles has joked to a friend that his much talked about dalliance with Xtra Factor presenter Caroline Flack was more hands-on and sexual than romantic and deep.

The One Direction singer's friend, Will Sweeney, who was also in Styles' old band White Eskimo, told The People that he chatted to him about his involvement with Flack and boasted that they had an undeniable animal attraction:

"I remember asking Harry about Caroline and he laughed. He said it was more of a physical relationship than anything else.”

"All his mates think he’s a bit of a legend though. It’s classic Styles. He definitely enjoys the attention and he’s making the most of it.”

Styles recently revealed to HollywoodLife that he would quite happily fight for the affections of a girl he fancied and would even risk "getting a black eye" if it meant securing a smooch:

"I don't mind getting a black eye or broken arm for a girl as long as she's there to kiss it after! I'm not particular about the girls I like as long as she has a good sense of humour and doesn't take life too seriously."
