Louis Tomlinson on getting mobbed in Doncaster: 'Every time I'm here the reception is amazing'

One Direction heartthrob Louis Tomlinson has opened up about the huge group of female fans that rushed to greet him outside of a radio station in Doncaster and joked that it happens every time he goes back there.

Speaking to Hallam FM, Tomlinson explained that returning to his hometown always encourages an excited reaction from fans who also live in the area:

"Yeah that was pretty intense. A few of the girls were getting a bit rowdy, grabbing me, but I am in Doncaster, so I’ve grown up with that…"

"But no, it’s amazing every time I come back here and have that kind of reception so it’s really nice."

He also gave an update on the injuries he sustained during the recent charity football match at Celtic Park in Glasgow and added:

"My knee is actually alright, it’s more my ribs that are hurting me. I think they are just a bit bruised and when I take a deep breath it hurts a little bit, but nothing too bad."
