Robin Thicke says magazine shoot inspired raunchy 'Blurred Lines' video

Robin Thicke says a magazine photoshoot inspired him to include nudity in his 'Blurred Lines' video.

The singer turned heads earlier this year when he released the promo clip for the hit track, which saw three models strutting about naked.

Thicke has now revealed that a saucy magazine shoot in which he starred alongside nude women inspired him and his wife Paula Patton to go naked for the 'Blurred Lines' video. He said:

"I've done some topless photo shoots before but never completely nude. [The magazine shoot] was very sexy and I like that. At first I thought, 'Okay, let's just do topless'...but, again, my wife and her friends were like, 'No way...go all the way'."

Thicke added: "I think we definitely pushed the envelope...When I was talking to my wife and her friends about the video they said, 'Do something like Treats! because you love it so much.' And her friends were like, 'Yes!'."
