Selena Gomez on pressure: 'I have to delete social media sometimes'

'Good For You' sensation Selena Gomez has revealed that she sometimes has to delete social media apps from her phone because they completely overwhelm here.

Speaking to Extra about the pressure that social media creates, the beauty explained that she's glad it didn't really exist when she was much younger and growing up because it's another platform for bullying:

"I think it’s so hard now more than ever because there’s so much access... I've had to delete Instagram off my phone for a week and just kind of not get on it, 'cause it is crazy. I couldn’t imagine being 13 and dealing with it."

"You can't listen to it, you have to know that you're made individually to be who you are and you should just be able to find your happiness (but) it’s so hard to say, cause I’ve been doing it myself."

Gomez, meanwhile, recently told E! News that she has learned how to be kinder to herself now and exercises that on a daily basis

"I'm very comfortable in my skin. I'm so proud of everything that I've done. And I'm a lot kinder to myself than I used to be. So if anything I just want that to translate. You know, my music is confident. My album artwork is so well done and I just think it's beautiful… I love being able to kind of have my own ways of doing things."
