Selena Gomez seemingly ended an interview early after being asked about Justin Bieber.

The singer and actress appeared via video-link on Monday (July 22) to chat with Chicago's WGN Entertainment.

However, things turned awry when interviewer Dean Richards raised the name of Justin Bieber, who Gomez used to date.

He questioned Bieber's recent behaviour and wondered if the 'Come & Get It' star could shed any light on why the 19-year-old Canadian might be acting in such a way.

However, Gomez smiled in desperation and looked around before the interview was cut, leaving the picture displaying a promotional message about her forthcoming tour.

The singer meanwhile did discuss Bieber with Ryan Seacrest recently, commenting that she should have kept her relationship more private.

Gomez also added to the TV and radio host that she is definitely not still dating the 'Believe' star.
