The Vamps have revealed their love of One Direction.

However, the rising British group don't believe that their respective sounds are that similar.

The 'Can We Dance' stars have often been compared to 'Live While We're Young' singers, perhaps due to their age and energy.

Speaking to the Daily Star, The Vamps - who have regularly covered One Direction - said that they dig the band's music.

James McVey said: "We love One Direction, we listen to them a lot.

"We cover One Direction's songs on YouTube and that's cool but I think our album sounds very different from theirs."

The Vamps meanwhile are due to release their debut album 'Meet The Vamps' on April 14.
