The Vamps' debut album enters iTunes top five

The Vamps have broken into the top three of the UK iTunes chart with their debut album.

The rising British group unleashed their maiden effort 'Meet The Vamps' today (April 14).

At the time of writing, the band are currently No.3 on the iTunes albums chart.

They sit behind the 'Now That's What I Call Music! 87' compilation, with Paolo Nutini's new entry 'Caustic Love' at No.1.

The band's overall performance will be updated on Wednesday (April 16) with the Official Charts Company's midweek update before the final result is announced on Sunday (April 20).

The Vamps meanwhile have yet to enjoy a No.1 in the UK, with their debut single 'Can We Dance' and recent effort 'Last Night' both reaching No.2.

Their second single 'Wild Heart' hit No.3 earlier this year.
