The Vamps sell out iconic London arena in 45 minutes

British pop-rock band The Vamps have sold out their upcoming concert at London's iconic O2 Arena in just 45 minutes, which is amazing considering the venue has a capacity of 20,000.

The 'Wild Heart' hitmakers will tour the UK's arenas next year in 2015 and the jaunt is due to kick off on April 17 in Glasgow. Their London O2 Arena dates will take place on May 1 and May 2.

Just as impressive is the fact that the boys have managed to shift an incredible 75,000 tickets in the first 2 hours of them going on sale. Speaking about the run recently, member Connor Ball told Capital FM that they have big plans for the new tour: "I think fire, snakes, dragons. We're going to fly across the arena. [I actually] did a course in trapeze and tightrope."

The Vamps, meanwhile, won three trophies over the weekend at Radio 1's Teen Awards and were recognised as winners in the Best British Group, Best British Breakthrough, and Best British Single ('Last Night') categories.
