Coldplay, Jay-Z and Rihanna close the Paralympics in London

Coldplay performed an amazing set at the London 2012 Paralympic Closing Ceremony tonight (September 9) in London.

Coldplay's set included songs from all five of the band's albums.

Chris Martin had already mentioned during the week that some spectacular guests would be joining them onstage, and the first of these was Rihanna.

The band's lead singer, Chris Martin, was joined by the Bajan beauty to sing their collaboration 'Princess of China'. Rihanna arrived on a mechanical steamboat.

Some 120 child volunteers from east London took part in tonight's show, with disabled aerial performers from Circus Scape and The British Paraorchestra.

The Olympic Flame was extinguished during the grand finale which featured Coldplay, Rihanna and Jay-Z, who rapped over Coldplay's 'Paradise'.

The show, said to be a 'festival of flame', honoured Britain's ancient traditions and festivals and was produced by artistic director, Kim Gavin.
