JLS' Marvin Humes says DJing is beginning of new career

Marvin Humes believes Djing could offer a new career path for him.

The JLS man has his own weekend radio show on Capital FM and he recently warmed up for the station's massive Summertime Ball event earlier this month at Wembley Stadium.

Whilst his band may be calling it quits at the end of the year, it seems his DJ career conversely is on the rise. Humes told the Daily Star:

"One career is coming to an end and another door is opening. You get an element of having to prove yourself coming from a boyband but if I get people knock me back cos I was in JLS, then fine. I use knock-backs to strive forward and knock on another door."

He continued: "It’s life – things change as you get older. I’m in a great place. I've always wanted my own radio show. I’m mixing in songs not on the radio playlist so it's something different for Capital and it’s a fantastic brand to be associated with."
