Calvin Harris reveals hope to collaborate with Emeli Sandé

The DJ has recently disclosed that he has talked about a possible duet with the singer-songwriter and revealed that it could become a reality in the near future.

In an interview with the Daily Star, Harris has been quoted as stating,

"I've been a fan since her first single and I've been pursuing her, in the nicest way possible. We met up and she seems up for it, so I hope that happens."

The star reached number one in the UK singles chart with Labrinth on the smash duet 'Beneath Your Beautiful', meanwhile Harris is in the top five of the album chart with the newly released ’18 Months,’ after being knocked off the top spot by Robbie Williams.

Harris also revealed that he turned down the opportunity to work with Lady Gaga because he was busy and "didn't really like the songs."

He explained the swap that saw him work with Florence Welch from Florence and the machine, on the new single, ‘Sweet Nothing’.
