Alexandra Burke becomes a Bond girl

The singer is set to record a new rendition of 'Live and Let Die,' originally written by Paul McCartney.

Simon Cowell has asked for the cover to be used for the judges' intro during The X Factor USA.

Burke told press, "It's always been one of the best Bond themes ever, and what a great time to re-record this as we celebrate 50 years of Bond."

The ‘Bad boys’ singer, who shot to fame on the UK version of ‘The X Factor,’ joins a list of musicians who have covered the much loved Bond themes.

Nicole Scherzinger took on the Tina Turner favourite ‘Golden Eye’ in another revamp of a Bond track.

Burke recently revealed that she is working on her third studio album.
