Rap sensation Kendrick Lamar has announced details of a headlining tour that will take him across the UK later this summer.

The 'Swimming Pools (Drank)' rising star, who recently topped a poll of the hottest MCs in the world, is set to perform a total of 3 concerts in Britain this July and will also perform at London's Wireless Festival alongside the likes of Calvin Harris, Rita Ora and Emeli Sande.

Lamar's UK tour will kick off on July 8 at the O2 Academy in Birmingham and he will then move on to Manchester's Apollo on July 9, before finishing with a show at the O2 Academy in Leeds on July 10.

Tickets for all of the dates will go on sale at 9am on Friday, April 12.

Last month, Lamar explained to The Sun newspaper that he's using his new found wealth to treat his family as a way of thanking them for their unwavering support of his career over the years.
