One Direction and Katy Perry amongst winners at NRJ Music Awards

One Direction and Katy Perry were the biggest winners at last night’s (December 14) 15th NRJ Music Awards.

The ‘Unconditionally’ star walked away from the ceremony held at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France with two gongs: International Female Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year for her track ‘Roar’.

Another double award win went to One Direction who were named International Duo/Group of the Year and the boy band also took home the prize for Video of the Year for ‘Best Song Ever’.

In attendance at the ceremony were winners Katy Perry, One Direction and James Arthur, as well as Will.i.am, James Blunt and teen singer Birdy.

International Duo/Group of the Year: One Direction

Francophone Song of the Year: Stromae – Formidable

International Song of the Year: Katy Perry – ‘Roar’

Video of the Year: One Direction – ‘Best Song Ever’
